I help fin-tech digital product teams to create amazing experiences by crafting top-level UI/UX.
As a part of our primary mission, we have worked extensively with the large informal waste-collecting community of India. Our initiatives across Delhi and NCR have provided them with a stable and dignified livelihood with occupational safety and training.
We joined hands with the Northern Railways to collect trash from trains that arrive at the busiest railway stations in Delhi and ensure the cleanliness of the platforms. We also coordinated with the municipalities across the Capital, who are becoming aware of the interest of waste workers, encouraging door-to-door waste collection, segregation, and composting. Our Material Recovery Facility (MRF) employed 120 wastepickers initially, who are trained to manage waste. Some of them are now our valued field officers, who continue the chain of training as we dream of a better future for the wastepickers.
