An emergency alert comes to the superheroes: Balshali and Birhali, the king and queen of the forest, Sindhuraj, the king of oceans and marine life, and Barfi, the snow king. But they are don’t know what to do. Frequent forest fires, thick smog, oil spills in oceans, plastics piling up in water, floods, and melting glaciers have made them terribly sick and powerless. They wonder what is the reason behind these symptoms. Carbon, the dog, tells them that all these are because of climate change. Is it true? They all approach Dr. UN for help. Dr. UN suggests the two pills: SDG13 (the climate action sheet of United Nations) and COP-36 (Climate Change Conference once a year) to resist the disease that the superheroes are suffering from. But the medicines fail to work. It is then, that the superheroes understand that not only them, but the whole world is seriously ill. The enemy in this case is not a singular entity. For years, human beings have cut down trees, and established factories that pollute the environment for their own benefit. Consumption has increased, and so has the exploitation of natural resources. No one has ever realized what this might do in the future. The glaring symptoms of climate change are now unveiling themselves, putting life on Earth in danger. This is when Carbon comes with the most effective solution: to reduce consumption- individually and collectively. The superheroes join hands to form the Climate Justice League and promise to educate their fan followers about how everyone can combat climate change through sustainable living. Fast forward to the year 2037: the League has finally succeeded in defeating the enemy called Climate Change.
The future lies in the hands of the young generation. Through this exciting story, we have focused on important lessons about air pollution, afforestation, and reducing thoughtless consumption. The Climate Justice League saved the world and we can too.
