Effective plastic waste management is talked about a lot. India has banned Single-use plastics in 2022. However, this video concentrates on what can be done on an individual level to contribute to the reduction of plastics.

A lot of Single-use plastic waste is generated from groceries and use-and-throw containers used in community bhandaras. The report goes on to appreciate grocers and local pansaris in Govindpuri Market, New Delhi, who are using paper packaging; individuals like Prabha Pandey of Nainital and Sameera Satija of Gurugram who run community-based crockery banks for everyone.
